Originally issued to Canadian Search and Rescue (SAR) Techs in the early 2000s, the SAR-D marked the beginning of Marathonās SAR Dive watches. Building upon that legacy, the 41mm OSAR-D was re-engineered and launched in 2024 with upgraded MaraGlo illumination for enhanced visibility, larger indices for quick reading, and an improved cyclops date window.

Yet not all operators, nor missions, are built the same. A 46mm size was added to the lineup (in both dial colours) to accommodate larger wrist sizes. All OSAR-D models feature IncablocĀ® shock protection and Sellita automatic movements. Notably, the 46mm OSAR-D is the first of the SAR series to be equipped with SW600 b movement, renowned for its 62-hour power reserve. Built for durability and precision, the OSAR-D is mission-ready.
